For a race of hairless primates, the humans have gotten pretty good at throwing things out into space. Getting it back is normally an afterthought, however. Humans managed to figure out nuclear fission with no outside helpable of wiping countries off the maps. Humans banded together under one flag and identity because they thought we were invading them for their seawater. Humans lost the war, Galactix let them off lightly by [[REDACTED]].

Vultet are, as they put it, "advanced" life-forms who spend their days creating new laws and solving intergalactic disputes. In this day and age, they fancy themselves mediators in great political reforms. half a million years ago,  the Vultet were a bloodthirsty murder cult who waged war in the name of a god known as Iga'ara. Three quarters of Vultet controlled space is filled with planets gained through bloodshed.

The proud Chronari. They have the ability to reproduce quickly through spore clouds, but struggle to survive in the open without a moisture suit. Every nice swamp has at least one Chronari. They might be your neighbor, they might even be your doctor. This great race does not pass disease through their slime.

The Gravara. The resident squids of Cithis. their young remain in the oceans, deep below the ice caps. The adults were "elevated" as a species by the Vultet. Put into metal suits and taught mathematics and literature for a thousand years or so. In manual labour, nobody lifts quite like a Gravara. This is mainly due to the fact that Gravara have no muscles to strain.

Fluxian life-forms are an interesting discovery. Silicon based crystalline hive mind structures that continue their species by breaking off a piece of themselves and waiting. How long it takes will depend on how much the fluxian is willing to go without. smaller shards will take longer to mature, larger shards will take less time to mature. It was the humans that discovered them, actually. A war had broken out about a hundred million years ago, and the only thing left on the planet was a bunch of sentient diamonds. We collected as many as we could... For research...

So the universe has cat boys. Who knew? The Orixia are native to two jungle planets in the same system that contains the squid folk. If you've seen an earth cat, you've seen a member of the Orixian race. As it turns out, they managed to visit earth a couple of million years ago, ran a few experiments on their own genome, and left the failures there. Back on their jungle planets, they've cured most tropical diseases and have counter-measures for almost any infection.
